The two less lonely people in the world...

As for a starter on my blog for motherhood, I would like to share more of how the two people fell in love.  Of course, it all started in two persons making the baby. LOL.   So, here it goes...  Our love story started as being fanatic of online chatting craze way back in early 20's.  During those times, online chatting is a bit new to many people especially in our country, Philippines.  So, through it... making friends became virtual.  Everything nowadays goes with technology.

Like the song, "Two Less Lonely People of the World" by Air Supply, as on its' lyrics, we found love unexpectedly.  We were just two persons looking for friendship online that eventually fall into something that we call love.

I already wrote our love story via our 'e-invitation' for our wedding.   Here's the link: http://www.mywedding.com/johnpaulgrace

Our Story - by GRACE (written October 2012)

We've been a couple for 9 years & 5 months now. We became officially "in a relationship" last June 9, 2003. We had ups and downs in those years but we still hold on and never give up with each other. That's why we are very happy that our dream of being as ONE will soon to be coming true.
This is how funny we first met. It was March of 2003 when we first crossed each other in a chat room mIRC (Internet Relay Chat). Actually, mIRC was the fad during those time---before Friendster and Facebook came out. He had a girly chat name which is "simplesweet" and mine is "redgracie". I asked him why he's using that and he answered, it explains his personality. And, I told him bout' mine that it's my fave color!.
We even chatted over the phone (long hours of phone calls)---that build our friendship. So, we ended up meeting each other personally. We met in SM Megamall Powerbooks. I was late for 4 hours! He's determined to see me, so he really waited for me. hehehe... :-)
I spotted him first---without him to notice me. I'm kinda' nervous at that time coz' i'm not used to meeting someone alone. But, i followed my instincts and i knew how honest and sincere he was when we were just chatting in mIRC or over the phone. It was our first date... We watched a movie titled "Just Married" and ate dinner in Kenny Rogers SM Megamall. As, he was walking me home, he  asked if he could see me again. I normally would say no, and make him wait a few days but I just couldn’t wait to see him again. I had never felt this way about someone before, we just connected right away. So we went out the following day, and the day after that, and the day after that, and the rest is history!
That first meeting followed with more meetings. We went to malls, parks and even the tourist spots in Manila City, where he spent his childhood!!! I remember the time when he brought me to Roxas Boulevard, along the breakwater. LOL... We sat there (watching the ocean) and just talked and laughed. Everything were just simple back then. Eat dirty icecream, kwek-kwek, fishballs and kikiams, and eat merienda in a carinderia. We had so much fun together! Those simple life together!
After three months of wooing, I said YES! And, we were both happy. That was dated June 9, 2003. And, everything is HISTORY!!!
Now looking back at the time we’ve had spent together, I can’t help but think how lucky I am to be marrying my best friend. The past 9 years and 5 months has been full of some of the best moments of my life, and we are so excited for many more of those moments to come as we continue our journey  together.

The PROPOSAL

February 8, 2010 in Acuatico Beach Resort
I wasn't aware that we were goin' to a wonderful resort. He just told me that we're goin' to meet his friends somewhere in Batangas. We had a tiring 5 hours of travel goin' there... Well, it all paid-off when I saw how great it was.
Actually, when it was already past 7 in the evening, he fetched me in my room and told me that we're goin' to have our dinner... I asked him, why are u wearing a polo and maong pants? coz' he was wearing just a sando shirt and a beach shorts awhile ago... he just ignored me... so, while we were walking, I am definitely confused why we were walking towards the beach... but I just followed him... Then to my surprised... I first saw this the heart figure in the sand... and I was totally shocked... Then I saw the dinner table... He then told me that it was his surprise for me.
Then. it also never came to my mind that he would prepare that romantic and fancy dinner by the beach... And before we ate our dessert, he went by my side... knelt down with a box... and asked those 4 words... To my dismay, I pinched his nose and smiled... then I answered that one word... YES!
